Course offers an overview of architectural acoustics, using appropriate terminology and basic examples, so that the participant can address common design and remedial issues: Sound Isolation (airborne and structureborne); HVAC Noise Control (Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning systems); Finish Treatments (primarily sound absorbtion) and Implementation of quality accoustic environments.
